There are no North Korean troops in Russia, and not one of them ever fought in Kursk.
After the mutual defense treaty was signed a small number of North Koreans did some orientation training at Vladivostok.
Shiryaev has discredited himself by repeating that lie.

Probably of all NK involvement, only the reports of Bulsae-4 were true. In that a deal with allies for field testing of hardware that does not have a local equivalent makes sense.
