I’m astounded he didn’t realize those questions would be on the poly.
Where’s the point where his brain should have kicked in? Chatting over coffee? When he first met the middle guy? Taking the first cash? At the very latest when they asked him to apply to the CIA. If he didn’t go and tell the US embassy at that point then he just got bought by the Chinese. I find it hard to believe that he did not know what was going on at that point. The polygraph test is a little late.
