The simple, affordable Deltaprintr uses polar coordinates rather than Cartesian:


  1. Very clever approach. The profusion of low-cost FDM machines of increasing precision is a joy to see. Though they’re unlikely to ever go low enough to break into the hobbyist/do-it-yourself market, I can’t wait for SLS, EBM, and especially LENS to see a proportional decrease in cost.
