Completely ignoring your children as they grow up leads to a very similar end, but with much more aggression.

Moderation in all things. Mind your children, but don’t obsess over them. Let them explore and learn (often through pain), while keeping them reasonably safe from actual danger. Let them make their own decisions, within the limits and parameters you set.

Somehow, she doesn’t see how her own behaviors (her people’s behaviors) came to be, and how these behaviors led to high civilization, and then comes to think she is in the wrong. She may think the “chill out” people are living the life, and that she’s just crazy.

The Greek knew it well: you can’t give freedom to women, nor take them seriously. The Bible speaks well, too, when it forbids them from teaching.

They’re completely oblivious animals, and cannot identify cause and consequence anywhere, seeing everything just as shallow manifestations of appearance.
