One thing the eggheads always leave out is motivation. A man, unlike the soyboys in academia, will seek out vengeance for being wronged. It’s why the Europe and North American never descended into the degenerate slave states of the East and why the New World’s murder-based empires were so quickly smashed. Rather than submit to terror, true White Men preferred to die and take as many with them as possible. Once the survivors of a nuclear strike are consolidated and are past mere survival mode, the next thing to do is to plan retribution, to go on the offensive. The Will must have more of a purpose than merely living like rats in a cellar. However long it takes, vengeance is the gift of the Gods, and all true warriors are motivated to strike back at an oppressor. The Meek that shall inherit are not the sniveling simps of diversity. They shall be united in Blood, Steel and Religion

The Russian cities are clean and safe, no homeless thugs, and the Russian economy is prosperous, even with the sanctions, or maybe because of them.

Of course, the real gripe of the “Atomic Cafe” types is “Why didn’t those stupid 1950′s chuds just panic and surrender to communism, like they were supposed to? How dare they display courage and resilience in the face of an existential threat!” Had the atomic bombs in question been Nazi, rather than commie, I have a feeling that the response would have been rather different. And, oh yeah, these are also the same people who today believe that we should fight a nuclear war with Russia over which corrupt, kleptocratic state gets to rule the Donbass. You just can’t make this stuff up.

The really shocking part is to compare Detroit — the prosperous center of the arsenal of democracy in 1945 — with Hiroshima or Nagasaki, then and now. Far Left government is much more devastating than a nuclear explosion, albeit slower-acting.
