Grasspunk, horses have almost as much selective breeding as dogs or sheep, but the underlying ‘horse’ is still the same. Draft horses are much tougher than racers, but are a variation on that theme. Hence the obsession with equine bloodlines.

If you want a tough draft critter, get a donkey, a mule, or as your locals know, an ox.

How fragile are draft horses? I can see race horses being fragile but a farm horse needs to work. I can’t ask the old locals because where I live farm work was done by oxen.
