WOW! that is really bad.

Someone said we could deorbit this stuff with lasers in orbit. We should get on that or at least get a start.

Gun barrels cool in the atmosphere, lasers need a cooling medium and the power systems supporting the weapons require cooling. All of which is very difficult in a vacuum. So the movie scene of non-stop weapons fire is a farce.
