This trend has been seen in different areas of fashion, but the final confirmation for me was a British TV ad in which adults — including strapping wrestlers or perhaps boxers — talk and behave like little children as they dive into a packet of sweets/candy.

But then, most countries are led by small minds these days so maybe not surprising.
