How convenient to just “pretend” that the US military is still packed with “the dregs of society”. This is not true so your propping up a straw man just so you can know him down.

I can do this to. Doing a lot of drill and spit shine actually focuses the minds of Men turning them into psychotronic telepathic weapons. They just don’t advertise it. Some can with enough cleaning of toilets or parade ground drill fly through the air like witches.

The military is not taking the dregs of society. They have standards and and because the Jews have destroyed the economy and raped the job market they are meeting them and they are not even close to morons. What you’re saying is stupid. Even the line about taking a few Men and outfighting morons is stupid and the very occupations we are in now prove this. That’s what we have right now. There’s not very many actual fighting troops in any of the countries we are in. It’s way fewer than the population of fighting Men in the countries we’re occupying. So you’re wrong.

And you do not always get a choice. Let it bother all you want there’s no such thing as you always getting what you want. Sometimes you have to take what you can get and make do.

The fact is that we could defeat these countries but only with unacceptable bloodshed. Like killing them all off. Which we could do but…might not be such a good idea.

Let’s make sure you understand “I” am not in favor of all these wars but I disagree with you that you can have what you want or that kirk is not right about the way things are run in the military. You do have to build people into teams and the shortest way to do it the old tried and true method that, unfortunately, involves a lot of bullshit that you, myself and other hate but..that’s just the way it is.

One thing I noticed in the military is that people who would not do the basic stuff that’s required like keep your hair cut, shine your boots, simple stuff, were shit heads and always caused problems. People were always having to waste their time dealing with these shit heads. I suspect it may very well be that it would be a good way to weed out the shit heads by just looking at who was not doing this basic stuff

Myself I would do this stuff but not in some anal way just meet basic standards. Kirk is right the people who won’t do the basics are a pain in the ass and it’s easy to spot the trouble makers by seeing who will not do this basic stuff that’s not a big deal.

Some things are just the way they are and any deviation to change it will involve so much effort that you will defeat whatever purpose you were after in the first place. You will spend all your time on the “new” method but not get any substantive increase in productivity or results.

A perfectly good, I would say stellar, example of this that the “intellectuals” thought up was “look say” reading compared to “phonics”. Yes it’s boring as hell but phonics works and look-say is a poor substitute.

If you “get” the last idea about reading you will see it’s a direct correlation to military training.

I once knew a guy who thought the way you did – linear, narrow, dogmatic, touchy, stuck in the past and never asking the questions his thinking begged. That stupid bastard made a huge hash of things and nearly got me killed at a young age.

You don’t know what you’re looking at, and you don’t know what you’re talking about. Period. Cease the prattling, and go comment on something you actually know about through personal experience, not Walter Mitty-esque fantasizing and “I could do better…”. If you could, why didn’t you? Have you ever worn a uniform? Ever? Do you have a clue what it is to try to get a formation of men through wet, dark woods at night, without being observed by other men who would kill you, and then do something difficult on the other side of those woods? Have you ever had to chivvy men along in the freezing cold, to get them to do more than the bare necessities for personal survival, keeping them alive and functioning to fulfill a military mission?

If the answer is no, shut the fuck up.

If the answer is yes, which I seriously doubt, then I also seriously doubt you did anything above the rank of team leader or private, because you display the simplistic mentality of someone who never got past that set of position or duties if they did manage a bit of a military career.

The law of averages only applies if you decide in advance you won’t have standards. A few good men can outfight a great many brainwashed morons. It’s not a numbers game.

And don’t ever tell me I don’t get a choice. I don’t take kindly to that.

In a chaotic situation such as war, talk of things running smoothly is missing the point big time. It’s not a factory floor. It’s a contest with an enemy who does not give a damn about your processes running smoothly.

I’ve heard it said that the problem with schools and factories is that they’re regimented along military lines. Maybe the real problem is that the military and the schools are regimented along factory lines. What makes sense in a factory does not apply everywhere.

Soldiering is obsolete. It was on the verge of going obsolete in 1950. It’s definitely obsolete now. High tech and air power are the way to win nowadays. Marines and various special forces still have some relevance, but that’s not the sort of thing we’re talking about now, is it?

A battlefield is not a factory floor. There is no process to run smoothly. Not even in logistics. You need smart people who can think under pressure and adapt to situations. There’s no way to drill that into morons.

So let the morons stay home and flip burgers or something. That’s the law of below averages.

You don’t get a choice. Armies are the law of averages so you have to work with what you have. You some mystical super soldiers that don’t exist.

And you’re a bit above yourself to proclaim people losers that don’t have ALL the qualifications you demand. Most people are a mix with some better and some worse traits.

Kirk already said that the higher ups slack off if the point is made and things are running smoothly. That a few don’t is just the law of averages once again.

I can’t help but think of equivalent scenario when I read what you said. It seems the same to me as the people who want to flood the US with 100′s of millions of people while exclaiming that poor Whites are just drug abusers or lazy. But anyone can see that if they felt they had some sort of future with any sort of decent paying job, that over time on these jobs they would learn better habits but it’s not to be. Better to degrade them and write them off and give the job to some alien that will always say “YES BOSS” and jump too when he’s addressed.
