I really hate this destruction of the language but there is an upside to it. I was reading about CIA Director William Casey’s statement, “We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false”, the other day. Could be something very small that no one would credit as being of any value and the next thing you know the politicians are hanging from the telephone poles.
