She had a shotgun but no ammo. Each time one of the thugs tried to enter the bedroom she would work the pump-action of the shotgun but without ammo. Just that sound kept the bad guys away.

Virtually all of the school shootings were committed by insane, fatherless boys. So just what in Hell needs to be studied. Heavily police the underclass and put the perps in concentration camps.
