The whole “Fight for Fifteen” thing falls down on one essential fact that the idiots putting it forth don’t understand, or bother to explain to their minions if they do understand it: The business owner has to extract at least $15.00 an hour, plus profit and overhead, from every employee when that is the mandated minimum wage. In order to do that, they have to replace low-skill humans working the register and grills with high-skill humans repairing, maintaining, and running the robotic replacements for those former low-skill workers. If you can’t produce the money to allow your boss to pay you your money, guess what? You ain’t gonna have a job.

The trouble is that we’ve maleducated the vast majority of Americans over the last fifty-sixty years, and the results of that are here, plain to see. The demagogues get the masses “woke” to whatever controversy they choose, and the mob rules. Unfortunately, as we see in Venezuela, that doesn’t work for very long…

…and little concern among progressives about the downsides of discouraging work.

Because progressives are very happy with people being dependent on the state for their sustenance.

Along with illegals and H-1Bs, we need to get 80%+ women out of the workforce. They collectively accomplish next to nothing each day except for exerting downward pressure on wages.

We should have had 3- or 4-day workweeks a couple decades ago, but instead we are forced to have an absurd tax burden so we can support the parasites at the top and those at the bottom. Those of us in between get the shaft.

Couple that with work environments that resemble an extension of highschool instead of a professional environment, there is really not much worth to work unless it is a hobby you enjoy.

And wages would be better if we could kick the illegals out along most of the H-1′s. Corporate America’s whining about lack of skilled workers is total BS.

This is silly. You could easily have a high minimum wage if we didn’t have millions and millions and millions of low wage people dumped on the country.

Ignoring this is the equivalent of the physics professor explaining cows by drawing a circle on the board and saying,”Consider a round Cow”.
