The problem with the Z-Man's analysis (and I find this to be true with many of his posts) is that he doesn't consider the bigger picture. For example, what about all the left-wing think tanks being funded by wealthy left-wing donors? It is silly to think that this is all about "setting the limits of what is and what is not permitted in the public sphere." Take the topic of abortion -- if the left-wing world thinks abortion is just fine, why are writers who work for conservative think-tanks still churning out pieces denouncing the practice and pushing for its end?

If someone like Jason Richwine, who was unfairly fired from Heritage, is supposedly so toxic how come he's now writing again for "National Review"? The same "National Review" that publishes all of CIS' stuff!
