I roughed out the non-hispanic-white-caused homicide rate for the US. It’s 1.1 or 1.2. For comparison, Switzerland is 0.6. In Switzerland, every adult male is required to own a working assault rifle, and his military service will have trained him in its use. Also you can buy howitzers, though not shells apparently.

So yeah, guns totally kill people.
