The host said indignantly “You can’t say that!”

The caller replied “Why not? It’s true”.

Host: “Just because something is true doesn’t mean you can say it.”

So the flip of that is, if something is a lie but makes people feel good or doesn’t hurt their feelings, it should be widely proclaimed?
