		<description><![CDATA[These species too have gone through a Darwinian selection process. They are the survivors that were able to adapt to the man-created environment and thrive. 

Coyotes the more you hunt them the more they proliferate and spread. They have more food from less competition and produce bigger litters at an earlier breeding age, with a higher percentage of those litters becoming adults. Those coyotes that survive the extermination process become a very lean and mean and smart coyote.

With the widespread use of fossil fuels the forests too have grown back from a time when 100 years or so ago the land was more barren. No more need for wood-cutting as a fuel source.]]></description>
