I went back in the year 2002 and took another look at the writing qualities of all of the 19 episodes that I could find.

At least 17 of the 19 had (in my opinion) above-average sci-fi qualities. One was essentially a 1970s-style Dukes of Hazzard rip-off, and one, the final episode, seemed to be a politically motivated attempt to introduce lots of female replacement characters.
