It equally supports the opposite, i.e. that men who have lower cancer risk find it easier to gain muscle and are more likely to sustain an interest like weightlifting.

They didn’t take a random sample of men and put part of them on exercise regime. Most likely the type of guy who gets big muscles or has motivation to go lift weights is also the type of person who does not get cancer.

Like most “lifestyle” studies this is highly suspect.
