This sir is a factual account, not an editorial. Certainly not a religious apology. Good god.

I don’t think it’s even sincere, since he seems to be a debunking of the idea that the war was about slavery, or religion, or indeed morality at all. So, even still, nice article. But then I agree, so I would say that.
