(Movie theaters had smoking sections then, so I remember us puffing away.)

She: “Haw-haw. That’s gonna flop. Who’d go to something like that?”

Me: “Gee, I thought it looked inneresting.”

She: “Good, go see it by yourself.”

So I did. And during the closing credits thought, “This changes everything. Movies are gonna get better now.”
