		<description><![CDATA[It&#039;s amazing how long it took for the Germans to really mobilize their economy for full war production. As far as I know it took them until 1943. Of course the better they do the worse it gets for them; if they win the conventional battles, subjugate Russia, cow Britain, etc, it just ends in a few hundred mushroom clouds sprouting in 1947-48.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Had the Germans come up with the snorkel earlier in the war, they might have done a lot more damage.  Also, if D&#246;nitz had had more influence than R&#228;der, more resources might have gone to subs than surface, also to the advantage of the enemy.]]></description>
