He’s clearly having fun smacking the woman around. He’s a big muscular looking guy and he hits her what must be dozens of times and she’s still conscious and is described as having only some stitches and a concussion? If he had been genuinely trying to kill or maim her rather than terrorize her, she would have been a lot worse off. (My sister has sustained in soccer more serious injuries than the woman did.)
