It is called the wager of battle. Were the US a genuine friend of Israel it would just butt out, support neither side of the conflict, boycott and embargo nobody, and just let the Israelis and their adversaries face the ‘old school’ consequences of their beliefs and actions. Perhaps that’s the best way to deal with this festering sore.

In order to avoid a second holocaust, the Jews must be evacuated from Israel and sent to a new home. Anti-semitic Europe cannot be that home, but the US can. And we would greatly benefit from having another 6 million Jews in our midst.
