Much of his work can be dismissed as sentimental, jingoistic doggerel (and I&#039;d have to reluctantly agree) but when he hits the mark (And he does with surprising regularity) they can leave you tingling.

I like his &quot;Big Steamers&quot; and &quot;The Trade&quot; and &quot;The Oldest Song&quot;. And of course, possibly his most famous &quot;If&quot;.]]></description>
