		<description><![CDATA[I was listening to an old lecture by Michael Crighton on complexity theory and he commented on how active the earth is, and it surprised me the number of natural events a day that take place; hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc.  He didn&#039;t realize it himself until he did research on Chernobyl as a background to writing a novel on a massive disaster. Chernobyl&#039;s scary reporting was worse than the actual event it turns out.]]></description>
