Neil Halloran, who previously produced The Fallen of World War II, returns with The Shadow Peace:

  1. After his mostly excellent WWII video I was sad to see him fall so readily for the completely discredited nuclear winter hypothesis, among a whole laundry list of similar misconceptions and deceptions. Many of his suggested “instruments of peace” are ridiculous to anyone familiar with the their details and history.

“Many people are skeptical about… the science of less tangible things…” I think Mr. Halloran might want to refresh yourself on the definition of “science.”

I’m also a bit annoyed with his sweeping, unsupported dismissal of deterrence, etc. If you’re going to argue why one set of methods is better than another, you need to present both cases in detail, even ignoring the fact that diplomacy and deterrent are not competitive but complementary approaches to many problems.

Still, I look forward to seeing his detailed case.
